As a Data Specialist, you will bridge the gap between technical data engineering and business insight. You will support the creation of scalable ETL pipelines and data models using Python, PySpark, and cloud platforms, while transforming complex data into clear Power BI dashboards.

By mapping data elements across the organization and applying analytical and predictive logic, you will develop analysis needed to improve operational performance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Data Flow & ETL Support

• Assist in the end-to-end design and scheduling of secure ETL pipelines and data warehousing solutions using Python and PySpark

Business & Reporting Analysis

• Collaborate on defining business requirements

• Assess current reporting and suggest ways to improve data delivery

User Collaboration

• Work closely with end users to understand reporting needs

• Help design and build intuitive dashboards and reports

Problem Solving & Data Quality

• Act as a go-to resource for troubleshooting data issues in existing reports

• Support and facilitate user testing to ensure data accuracy

Data Foundation & SQL

• Create required datasets, metrics, and attributes for reporting requests

• Write and refine SQL queries to support analysis and reporting

Data Access & Optimization

• Help manage and organize underlying data sources

• Ensure data extracts are efficient, structured, and analysis-ready

Insights & BI Enablement

• Develop practical analytics logic to support informed business decisions

• Help develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards

Job Specifications

Education

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a very relevant field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a similar IT-related role
